Here at Guias Jon Sanz we seek to bring the mountains a little closer to you! More than just mountain guides we see ourselves as educators who strive to give you the resources that will allow you, in time, to become independent mountain goers who know what they are doing and do it safely.
We can guide you, in English, through any of the following mountain ranges: the Pyrenees ( also the French side), Sierra Nevada, Picos de Europa, la Palma, Mallorca, Sierra de Gredos and Sierra de Grazalema.
We basically work in two different ways:
The first is through a series of programmed activities for groups which are open to everybody wishing to take part. These are published about every four months on the website. They are usually composed of Spanish participants making them an excellent opportunity to meet local alpinists.
Secondly, we are available as private guides for groups. So if you are planning to do some hiking in Spain, to climb a specific mountain or to do any number of mountain sport courses, we can inform and advise on the different options available and tailor an activity or programme to suit your needs and preferences.
